Ensuring the maximum security of your data while maintaining compliance with the data protection act 1998 Euro Recycling provide a fully auditable service. This includes a full inventory of all items collected listing serial numbers and asset codes. Once the data removal process is complete, all asset and ID tags are removed from all items, and a certificate of removal is then issued to your company or organisation to check against your asset management system.
In compliance with our Waste Carriers Licence, Euro-Recycling will issue a Waste Transfer Note for every collection. This will list the number of items collected with the relevant European Waste Category Code.
The WEEE recycling legislation stipulates that should the collection involve hazardous waste e.g. CRT monitors, Euro Recycling is obliged to issue a consignment note to satisfy your legal obligations under the Restriction of Hazardous Waste Regulations. The consignment note details where the waste has originated from and to which licensed waste management company the hazardous waste is destined.
The system is designed to enable the Government to track the movement of all hazardous waste in the UK. Any company producing more than 200 Kg of hazardous waste in a year is obliged to register with the Environment Agency.
